Provo Pioneer Village

Image from provopioneervillage.org
There's a new kid in town, well, not new, but expanded.  It's the Provo Pioneer Village run by The Sons of the Utah Pioneers.  They have thousands of artifacts, fun activities, and are even looking for volunteers both to volunteer at the site as well as to make pioneer clothing.  They'll be open Saturdays starting May 25 at 10:00 a.m.  Their summer hours are Monday 5-8; Tuesday-Friday 4-7; and Saturday 1-4; they'll also take appointments starting April 12.  They'll always have tours, games, and stories, but if you go on Saturdays you can also see leatherwork, blacksmithing, spinning, butter making, music, school, and go on a wagon ride!  They'll additionally have other special activities and events throughout the season.  Their address is 600 N 500 W in Provo, Utah.  If you want to get on their mailing list, send a message to steveconnie1771@comcast.net.

Please see provopioneervillage.org for more information.
