I just finished this toddler dress using Liz Clark's Infant Gowns pattern. It's the size C/D pattern in the yoked bodice. I love, love, love it. Maybe it will be a better fit by the end of the summer, too!
I got the inspiration mainly from this picture from the Earthly Angels blog.
I actually had this one mostly done before I even started sewing on the blue one I posted previously, I just wasn't sure how I was going to do the sleeves, so I had to stall.
I considered making an upside down tulip/flower shaped sleeve, but in the end, went with the pleated sleeve.
I think I'm creating a tradition of making a baby/girl's dress with leftover fabric from a lady's dress!
Because of the growth tucks in the skirt, it really puffs out all on its own! Now to make some little petticoats to puff the skirt out evenly!

Darling!
Sweet as can be!
I'm going to have a "gap day" between the Highland Games June 11 and flying out to Biloxi MS June 13... possibly a good day for workshops in SLC!
Love the dress and the little girl inside of it. Let's sit her on a settee like the old fashioned girl in the picture.
